1. The Holy fire of God is burning,
Yes every day and every hour;
It gives me strength, and warmth, and comfort,
When God prevails in Holy power.

2. He fills my soul, with love abiding,
Which flows throughout eternity;
I know some day, He'll take me yonder,
To live with Him, and He with me.

3. I wonder if that fire is burning,
Down in your soul as it is mine;
It could be friend, if you'll receive Him,
Or else He'll leave you far behind.

4. To feed the fire in Hell that rages,
As ages roll with endless pleas;
Oh won't you give your heart to Jesus,
And live throughout eternity?
