In short, think of this as a personal blog, but for more detail:
I made this website back around 2021 with the intent of doing comics and animations, And I wanted to get local artists in my area involved where there would be a site they can post without restriction, the problem? I also want this site to be family friendly, so I have to vet who I would allow, so far it’s just me but who knows, maybe it’ll grow one day in the future.
I love listening to and reading folk music, but sometimes it’s hard to find the tune or everything in one place, so that became purpose number 2 of the site, while I have plenty of books and songs, combining multiple versions of a song found across 20-plus books into a single cohesive narrative is hard to do as an individual, but I am sure it’ll grow over time.
In that same vein I created a YouTube channel to record such songs to keep from paying video hosting.
Not being monetized gives me more room for freedom to use copyrighted material that the owners allow reposting on the internet, as I am not paid by YouTube, I don’t have to worry about copyright demonetizing my channel.
There is a tip jar I would appreciate people giving $1 once I accumulate enough content to justify a “Donation”, that being said this money is not a tax-deductible donation and would count as my income and help go towards things like, paying off my house and side projects.
You’ll notice a more often than not inactive radio station, this is public domain music I have built up to play on the website, but unfortunately my recording computer is also my streaming computer and too many things going at once overloads it, one of my goals is perhaps paying for cloud storage for the radio, but I prefer my automation program, and goal number 2 is to get $1K/Y once the radio is stable so I can legally use copyrighted music.
You’ll notice a section on the homepage called “Featured Video I Like”, it’s exactly as it sounds, if I find a video I think is worth sharing, it goes in that section until next time.
Next there is the “Wise Words” section, it is/was an experiment of doing one practical quote per day that can be used in every day life.
At the moment I am struggling to find 365 quotes worth rotating through, yes I know there are plentiful out there, but these are specifically supposed to be quotes to get you to think and can be used to better your life.
“Thoughts for Thought”: Ever hear of food for thought? same concept, this will be a personal blog I post some thoughts I have that can be used as food for thought.
Videos, these are my YouTube channels categorized by type, you have the main channel that the music and preaching goes on, then extras which is just whatever I want to do that doesn’t need to fit a theme, My cat playing in the snow? Goes to extras, doodling? Extras, videos I want on the website hidden from YouTube? Extras.
The third channel is for games, because I enjoy editing but people listen to my music don’t want games and vice versa, and lastly my A.I channel, same as before A.I content is exclusive to this because not everyone likes it, and I can understand why so respectfully I put it off to the side for people who do enjoy, concepts I may want to put on the other channels may originate here in all honesty as a proof of concept.
Like “Elias Stone in Jungle Frequencies”, I can’t afford a voice actor for this, so A.I. was a proof of concept, Yer-Way burger was a food truck I wanted to do before seeing the startup costs and the difficulties in licensing and running it, but a proof of concept can begin with A.I as a journal until I make that video or comic the way I truly want.
But yeah, welcome to the website, it’s messy and broken… But it’s mine, and that’s what matters, whether I get one fan or 100, this is something for me and I hope you enjoy something.
